Christopher Heights new assisted living facility in Marlborough is J.J. Bafaro´s fifth project with Cutler Associates for Christopher House Assisted Living, Inc. The 53,000-square-foot, U-shaped, three story complex will contain 83 studio and one-bedroom apartments. Fifty of the units will be for low- to moderate-income seniors.

Cambridge School of Weston´s new 22,000 sq. ft. Science and Art Gallery Building included classrooms, galleries to showcase art, community gathering spaces for events, and science labs and will serve as the hub for computer network systems. Green building elements of the project include a pellet hopper and boiler, composting toilets, leach fields, green roof, a groundwater recharge system, radiant floor heating, timber framing structure, FSC wood, recycled glass tile, bamboo flooring, heat recovery wheel, triple glazed windows, reusing blasted ledge for steps, stairs, retaining walls, and light sensors.
BJ´s Wholesale Club

This $42 million, state-of-the-art, cross-docking facility is constructed of masonry and metal panels and serves to replenish more than 85 BJ´s Clubs throughout the northeast. With 239 loading dock doors and 560 parking spaces, the complex is capable of up to 520 pass-through distribution moves per day. Constructed in just 10-months, the building also includes storage space as well as a cafeteria and offices.

This 140,000 square foot building renovation represented Swiss-based Straumann Company´s first U.S. office. The technologically advanced facility provides manufacturing space for the design and production of dental implants, prototype labs, a dental and operating suite and a lecture-hall-style auditorium.
